You may notice oncology massage is very similar to traditional massage; depending on the individual, it may include some adjustments or variations, or it may closely resemble a massage you received prior to your cancer diagnosis. There can however, be lingering effects of cancer and treatment, e.g. lymph node removal, so it is important to examine these scenarios a bit more closely. This deeply therapeutic and relaxing massage is very effective and includes an oncology specific assessment to ensure the techniques remain in your best interest.
